The TBJ Inaugural “Leaders In Diversity” Awards Nominations for 2021

TBJ Leaders in DiversityIn this time of increasing social change and uncertainty, it is more important than ever to recognize leaders who are successfully incorporating authentic diversity and inclusion practices in the workplace. Triad Business Journal is excited to announce this awards program, which seeks to honor the outstanding organizations and outspoken individuals who are going above and beyond to bolster equality across all areas of diversity; including age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, and socio-economic backgrounds.


Honorees will be recognized in a special print publication and online in June 2021.


Nominations are open to any individual working and living in the Triad (Alamance, Caswell, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Guilford, Montgomery, Randolph, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry and Yadkin counties).


Categories are:


Corporate Diversity Champion | This award recognizes the leader of a Triad corporation that has promoted initiatives, resources and/or community involvement in advancing diversity in the region.


Outstanding Voice | An outstanding individual, ally or advocate in the Triad region who is making a difference in advancing equality in the business community.


Top Diversity and Inclusion Officer | Recognizes individuals whose primary job is promoting diversity and inclusion within their organizations and who have shown leadership, commitment and motivation in driving the diversity agenda throughout the organization and the wider community.


Board Champion | Recognizes individuals who serve on a board(s) and use their position to help drive diversity initiatives within the organizations.
