I normally don’t post GoFundMe efforts in the newsletter. However, this is Mary Haglund of Mary’s, Mary’s Of Course and Mary’s Gourmet Diner and I could not resist providing my help.

A documentary is being made called “How To Feed An Artist”. Folks may not realize the groups of of artists from musicians, muralist and art entrepreneurs who have waited tables and cooked at this institution when it was open. It was a community meeting place and much more. Along the way, impacting the fabric of the city and even the country. All out of this popular diner.

Mary Haglund’s story needs to be told, and memorialized, as as a way for others to learn how you can make a rippling impact in your community and how to do it. Plus, I’m a firm believer now we’re not getting any younger and let’s share community stories and experiences now before we loose them.

So, I encourage folks to help make this documentary come to fruition. Every donation makes it possible for this person who helped so many spread their dreams to share with others.
